The engineer has been booked in for a couple of weeks to come this morning.
Stayed in all day but no-one turned up. No router delivery. Heard nothing.
Called and enquired about what was going on and got put through to someone who looked in to why the engineer had not come. She eventually said that the engineer could not do it as “the address did not have routing”. What ever that means (she didn’t know). Said that they would “assess” in a week.
not fix it, just “assess” it.
Am I being fobbed off? I have a bt openreach port in my front living room. There’s a working internet (box/thing) in the village. What’s the issue?
