Delayed go Live Telephone / Broadband / Billing

I registered on 14th August and got a live date of 29th August. The Broadband went live on that day starting off at 18Meg. Telephone would not ring but had dial tone.

Now kept emailing saying the service wasn't working due to Openreach problem. 

Broadband slowed and was at around 10Meg.

Finally phone started working today, although nothing from Now to advise service is now fully installed.

The billing shows that I paid on 7th September but I cannot see on what date the bill is covering. Next bill due 7th October.

Questions: How can I see what dates the bill covers service for not just the billing date?

How do I clsim from for loss of service, Openreach or Now ?

Finally how does anyone ever get through on chat, what is the best time to get a quick response.
