Credit being issued

I've been notified of a credit of £29.15 but if my direct debits continue as normal how do I retrieve or spend the credit.

The credit will be applied to your next bill (or bills if you pay less then £29.15 per month).

They aren’t direct debits against your bank account, they are CPAs (Continuous Payment Authorities) against one or more Credit or Debit cards you may have.

The difference is small for most practical purposes, but you have slightly less rights with a CPA than you do with a DD.

But either way, when Now give you a credit amount, your CPA(s) are drawn against that credit instead of against one of your cards, until the credit is exhausted.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Or, to put it another way, the credit will be applied to your account, so the account will be "in credit" until it is used up.
