Check your wife’s iPad really is working over the WiFi from the new router, and not on Cellular, if her iPad has that.
Did she connect on her iPad to the new WiFi from the hub, and put in the new password and all?
And presumably you did the same on whatever is running your browser, and rebooted it so it wasn’t still looking for the old IP address and/or WiFi password?
Check Network Connections on the device to ensure the device is on the internet (not just the router) and try again.
Reboot the router if still no go, and repeat the above.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
