My official switch date from plusnet to now tv broadband was at the beginning of September. I am still being hassled by plusnet for my monthly payment despite being up to date with payments up to my switch date.
Does now tv broadband not notify plusnet of the switch and thereby cancel my account?

If your nowtv broadband is live, then nowtv would have contacted PlusNet to take over the telephone line and during the process your PlusNet service should have been cancelled on your nowtv live activation date automatically.

Might be an administration error on plusnet's part where you would need to contact them.
I have switched to nowtv broadband for 3 accounts for myself and family members (one with BT and two with TalkTalk) and on each occasion the switch over and cancellation process went smoothly without any input or communication needed from myself.
