There appears to be confusion over whether 0345 and 0870 numbers are free via Anytime Calls.
I phoned customer services and was told 0870 was chargeable yet the contract I received said they are free.
Does anyone know what the proper position is?
Reading this linked help article it looks like since May 2019 the 0845 & 0870 numbers are no longer part of the Anytime Calls package.
When did you sign up for NowTV Broadband ?
Not sure if under their T&C's there is a get out clause that says they have the rights to change their pricing structure ?
Thanks for replies.
The following is copied from 'Now Broadband and Calls Key Facts' which was sent to me when my BB went live yesterday.
para. 27. With NOW Anytime calls you get inclusive calls of up to an hour to UK 01, 02, 03, 0870, 0845 and UK mobile numbers.
The problem is that I am coming up with contradictory info in other Now urls as Schnapps has just done.
I telephoned today and the customer adviser did not know but enquired and then said 0870 numbers are chargeable. However, I have it differently in the info that was sent to me, and she did not know at the time of asking.
I really need a proper reply in writing.
Does anyone have an e-mail address for NowTv customer services?
Thanks for the contact details. I have completed a Web form so hopefully I will receive an accurate reply.
It is all quite confusing and in my search I noted that an Anytime call user was charged for 0870 numbers and experienced a sizeable bill.
