Things are more awkward with Virgin as they are on a completely separate network, you should have been informed when applying if you could keep your number or not. NOW TV aren't able to cancel your Virgin subscription when you switch from Virgin so you need to contact them yourself to get itmcancelled but I would give the NOW TV Broadband Team a call to double check they can't move the number across.
