Requesting Refund

I wanted to try the entertainment monthly pass.

 

But due to various circumstances (mainly broadband problem, I am an Indian resident, I registered for NowTV while I was in UK for a long work assignment) I have never used the service. Iam sure you can verify that.

 

And I completely forgot about it. And now I have been charged for two months consecutively. 😞

 

Can I request a refund please.

Sooo angry totally forgot i had vowed never to use NOW TV again last time but Hey I suppose I was desparate .Same bleedin thing all slow motion football .Just like the last time .Tried everything. Really fed up .This never used to happen. I feel robbed .6.99 x 2 . I want a refund

For security reasons, all 'account' related issues (such as, NOW TV account removal/card details removal and refunds) are subject to the Data Protection Act, which means it's more appropriate for you to directly contact a NOW TV representative rather than asking one of them (or somebody who may be posing as one of them) to contact you via the forum!

 

You can contact a NOW TV representative via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility by using a Windows or Mac computer, not a mobile device, as their web browsers are not sophisticated enough to display 'pop-up' windows (ie: windows within windows). Also, Mac or IOS device users will require JavaScript support enabled in their Safari internet browsers. Here's what you need to do: -

 

  • Click on the following: How To Contact NOW TV link.
  • To 'Send us a message', click on the light blue 'Send Message' button.
  • To start a 'Live Chat', click on the dark blue 'Chat online' button.
  • A new 'What can we help you with today?' pop-up window should open up.
  • Click on the 'Request Chat' button.

I have paid for a now tv entertainment and cinema subscription which I do not want, I would like to have these items refunded to me if possible please?

Did you remember to officially cancel your NOW TV subscriptions by accessing the 'My Passes' area of your 'My Account'?

 

The good news is, if you did, NOW TV would have sent you an confirmation email of your cancellation request. Provided you've received this, claiming back any money they've taken in error should be a straight forward procedure.

 

This being the case, provided you have not viewed any content (which the NOW TV people will thoroughly check) you should be able to get all (or a proportion) of your subscription payments returned/refunded to you by contacting a NOW TV representative, which can be done via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility. Here's what you need to do: -

 

  • Click on the following: How To Contact NOW TV link.
  • To 'Send us a message', click on the light blue 'Send Message' button.
  • To start a 'Live Chat', click on the dark blue 'Chat online' button.
  • A new 'What can we help you with today?' pop-up window should open up.

Hi I got a free sky cinema pass and then it was renewed with out me knowing this would happen. I wish this was not automatically renewed because you never send an email saying that if I want to cancel then I have to do it before this date.
Please will you refund the £9.99 back to my account.

The NOW TV service is primarily a monthly 'roll-over' subscription service. With an option to cancel at anytime!

 

According to NOW TV's 'Terms & Conditions', if you do not officially cancel the individual NOW TV services you've subscribed to (by accessing the 'My Passes' area of your 'My Account') they will 'roll on' automatically prior to any 'free trial', 'voucher pass' or 'monthly' subscription expiring.

 

That being said, provided you have not viewed any content (which the NOW TV people will thoroughly check) you should be able to get all (or a proportion) of your subscription payments returned/refunded to you by contacting a NOW TV representative, which can be done via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility. Here's what you need to do: -

Hi,
I had recently set up an account with you on a tv box purchased from Amazon. I went through the process and got as far as entering my bank details. The code for free 3 months viewing entertainment package, was for some reason not working however, and so i abandoned the idea. I attempted briefly to watch a movie through the now tv box and was unsuccessful. The problem was then, that i received a bill the following month for my subscription despite having never properly connected. So i would like to request a refund for the charges applied to my account and also ask that you cease to bill me.

Hello I was using a free one month subscription but I didn't know the it was auto renewal and I have cancelled it on the day of the renewal so can I get my money back

@Anonymous User pop into chat so long as you have not watched since renewal, you should get a refund. You do get told it will automatically renew when you take out a pass. However they are normally reasonable and return the money.
