Email from [email removed]

I received an email from [email removed] as below, Is this a genuine email from Now TV? 

 

 

Hi,

We haven’t been able to take payment for your NOW TV Pass.

We don’t want you to miss out, so please double check your card details now to keep watching:

  • Go to My Account
  • In the ‘My Passes’ section, click on ‘Update Card Details’
  • Update your card details

It looks genuine (I cannot see the sender info) as the instructions are correct for updating your payment card if it has expired. (I updated mine today).

If in doubt logon by logging onto the website yourself rather than clicking on e-mail links and check your payment details.

This does sound like it's from us.

 

We would send this if the card details on your account need changing this might be if you've had a new card or you've changed any details with the bank.

 

If you're ever worried about these kind of emails I'd always advise not clicking any links that might be in the email, as it might be taking you  to a site pretending to be ours. But if it's just directions on what to do you should be fine, as it is on that email.
