just noticed I've been charged again after cancelling my subcription in august

As title says just checked my bank because I saw a NowTV payment come out which is strange because i cancelled it in august of last year and haven't watched or used the app since then but noticed in febuary of this year I was charged for the entertainment package AND the boost pack.

After noticing I've then had a look at my last watched/devices used which both were last used a week before I cancelled so its not like I've had my Email/pw compromised has this happened to anyone else?

You are better to send an email to customer support or pop onto live chat. Both methods in my signature below.

If I were you, place a payment PIN on your account and change your password.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Maybe got on to Live Chat to see what they said?

It is, I devoutly hope, an urban myth that Now reactivate dormant accounts and start charging again.

So, are we saying that you cancelled in August, and have paid nothing since, until this one charge came up?

Which shows that you did indeed cancel successfully?

And that there are no devices shown on your account with any recent activity?

A further question is whether the billing for this Membership shows up on your account?

As I am wondering if this Membership is on the same account, and not just the same card? If it is on a separate account, then maybe worry if you card has been hacked?

You can check for duplicate accounts here:-

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
