How do I cancel NOW altogether, so I can start a new account with the discounts available

So all you want to do is sign up to get new discounts? 
Head onto live chat and see what staff can do with your existing account as it sounds like a lot of faff. Just make sure to click “chat online”.

What do you mean it won’t let you? 

Are you pressing “cancel” until you receive a message on screen saying it’s cancelled?

Where are you trying to cancel?

If it’s on the app you cannot cancel, this must be done online.

im on chrome, there is no cancel option. this is really scummy, sky...

no option to live chat or talk to a human

Then you have an issue with your account, see my screenshot below which shows the cancel option.

 

As for speaking to a "human" as you put it, go onto live chat, by clicking "chat online".
