Warning email

I’ve just received an email saying I’ve been watching Now TV abroad and must watch within UK or my account will be blocked! To date I’ve not used NowTV anywhere outside the UK though may be doing so in the next 2 weeks... that is if NowTV don’t unjustly block my account.

Is your ISP Vodaphone? There was a period recently when NowTV thought a lot of its customers with this ISP had moved to India 🙂


They were refused service accordingly, but if something similar had happened that ‘placed’ customers somewhere in the EU, nothing would be said or done, until the  ‘UK use’ 30-day time requirement kicked in.


This is what your email is about; NowTV think you are currently in the EU, though I am speculating as to the exact mechanism.


You need to get on to Live Chat, and have them sort this out:-

Please do not say ‘you’ in your posting and imagine you are talking to any employees of Now. Generally, we are all customers like yourself, who can’t help with billing or other queries that only Now can answer 😞
