There are certain cards that NowTV don’t accept; American Express, loaded prepayment cards, Debit cards linked to bank accounts with zero balance, are all examples.
If you follow NowTV’s advice and get in touch with them, they should be able to tell you what the particular problem with your particular card is.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
