Starting Free Trial of Entertainment Pass

I have put in all my details (several times) and I get the message saying that they need to take 10 pence to authorize my card.

So they took it. It's showing in my credit card account as having been taken out. But my Free Trial still isn't active. Everywhere I navigate in the website to try and start using it, it just redirects me to reinput my payment information (and the cycle starts over).

Game of Thrones season finale is on Sunday....so I just want my Free Trial to be active before then. I chatted with three specialists and none of them could figure out what was wrong.

As I said, my credit card worked. I have the 10 pence charge "NOWTV.COM/BILLINGHELP"

If my card has clearly been authorized given the 10 pence succeful charge, then why does it keep asking me for my payment information? Please start my free trial. Thank you.

It's originally a U.S. card but I changed the billing address to U.K.

It's a Visa

And again, the payment of the 10 pence was successful. So not sure why that would be an issue.

because NOW TV is only available in the UK and Ireland it may not work with signing up to NOW TV @Anonymous User. Our accounts managements teams are away for the weekend so at the moment we cannot check this with them. However as it isn't working for you my guess would be thats the reason.

Hi @Anonymous User,

As I mentioned to @Nadine-K a few days ago

Can information about 'UK registered debit/credit cards are accepted only (etc...)' be added to the What payment cards can I use? 'Help Centre' article?

Cheers

I'll raise it with our payments management team @SeeMoreDigital its a bit confusing for us aswell as you would think any card can be used but it seems thats not the case.

Have you tried to watch on any other device apart from the PC/Laptop?

did the same thing happen? i have asked one of our device management team members and they have said if the card was registered in the States then it may be confusing our payment systems which may be why it keeps taking you to the payment details to complete your account setup online.
