Signed up for £9.99 entertainment package, now been billed for cinema and boost...

Looks like you're loading free trials with short expiration to boost sales for items users like me didn't sign up for. Hate tactics like this and I'm cancelling before next renewal. Congratulations on scamming me out of £15.99 extra.

@cs55hno one is scamming you out of anything, if you can't be bothered to read terms and conditions then its down to your own stupidity, at least you can cancel soon - unless you signed up to a 6 month or so minimum term

It’s part of NOWs offers to include additional memberships as trails then after the period it’s £x for each membership. All of which are clearly stated in the T&C and in the offer itself.

This has caught out many people, but it is down to the user to fully understand and read to what they are signing up for.

Before you say you don’t want boost, have a full read of this to see what you’re getting with it.

Cancel is your friend as it will 9/10 throw a retention offer your way, which is why I am paying £2 a month for it and have been for 2 years.

Either way, if you rather you can speak to staff to see if they will take pity on you. Make sure to be signed in and use the ‘How to get in touch’ drop down.

Wasn’t calling you stupid and I apologise if it came across that way. This wouldn’t be an issue of course if it was an add on you had to select for any free trials, or if the free trial ended and you needed to sign up again to keep it going.

This is something that Now are doing, which they mustn’t.

It isn’t stupid of you to expect a reputable company like Now not to break the law 😢

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

@cs55h Just looked at my bank account and the scamming liars did the same and I did not request this service and whats more frustrating you cant speak or chat to a human they just send you round in a circle
