Phone line dead but internet working

I changed to NOW TV a few days ago and the broadband came on fine with the speed expected and no issues.

However, the phone is dead, no dial tone, nothing. If I call my number from my mobile it cuts off, does not ring. I have checked with 2 other phones and into the master socket behind the face plate. We did have a working phone line with our previous supplier albeit a bit noisy on the line but fully working.I waited a few days in case this was a hiccup but no. I am puzzled how the broadband can work but not the phone. I have inclusive call package so would obviously like this working.

No live chat available and cannot find a number to call them. Anyone else ever had this problem?

@Anonymous User a phone line needs 2 working cables (send and receive) whereas broadband only needs 1 working cable. 

Go through the help page (under the down arrows you'll find a 'still having problems' which should link to live chat. If live chat isn't working try the complaints line

Thank you Saint1976. I phoned them on the broadband contact number and after some testing their end they said there is a fault away from our property, in the street cabinet so an engineer will attend to it within 2 days.

Hopefully that will be it. It is funny how the checks from the NOW TV website showed all to be working well!

Any chance someone could provide a telephone number as now tv chat bot doesn't solve any phone line problems? Nor can I find the telephone number to report a fault on the website.
