Overcharged.

For the past three months I have been charged £40 for broadband after having three E-mails confirming that I should only be charged £22.99 per month.

Telephone agent refuses to accept Now E-mails. Tried to make complaint but have been ignored.

Left with no alternative but  to go to Small Claims Court to seek refund , compensation and court fees.

Very stressful. They may ignore me but they cannot ignore the Court.

You could always try CISAS, as here:-

Though I have used what is colloquially known as the ‘Small Claims Court’ in the past (not on Now!) without using any legal assistance, and it worked a treat. The solicitor for a fellow-plaintiff, going a more formal route, actually rang me up and asked me how I’d got my money 😛

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
