Kept taking money from my account after cancelling, then had unhelpful people on the live chat saying I failed attempting to cancel it, how nice for now TV that I'm paying for a service that I didn't want or sign up for only to get told it's my fault, companys a joke staff unhelpful just stick with sky.

Now TV is owned by Sky, so technically we are still Sky customers if we are using Now TV in any shape of form.
If you took out a free trial then you are automatically being signed up to one of the passes unless you cancel them before the trial finishes.
Try filling out the online form if you don't want to deal with Live chat.

Aw well bad example go with BT or Virgin media then, and it wasn't a free trial I had it for months cancelled 2-3 weeks before I was robbed out of another payment. (gav82008)
