Live chat not working

Live chat never seems to work.

 

im trying to get them to reset my devices but can't email and the live chat isn't working.

Have you tried accessing live chat by using either a PC, Laptop or Mac ?

Thanks a lot , emailed customer services and they where kind enough to make the reset.

Hi, I have cancelled my pass but have received no confirmation email. I want to contact Now TV but I have no live chat option as there is no button showing. I am really regretting taking up an offer now as there seem to be a lot of issues around cancelling passes.

It's possible to contact a NOW TV representative via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility by using a Windows or Mac computer, not a mobile device, as their web browsers are not sophisticated enough to display 'pop-up' windows (ie: windows within windows). Also, Mac or IOS device users will require JavaScript support enabled in their Safari internet browsers. Here's what you need to do: -

 

  • Click on the following: How To Contact NOW TV link.
  • To 'Send us a message', click on the light blue 'Send Message' button.
  • To start a 'Live Chat', click on the dark blue 'Chat online' button.
  • A new 'What can we help you with today?' pop-up window should open up.
  • Click on the 'Request Chat' button.

Thanks for response.  I can send a message but I need Live Chat but there is no option, as I have said. There is no button displayed. I logged into account via smartphone and there is a button displayed but no chat window appeared. Not sure I can chat on phone. I have already sent a message re technical issues but no reply. Not very confident of any one getting back. Like a lot of people beginning to feel marooned.

Hi, thanks for your response. Eureka ! I worked out what the problem was with the missing LiveChat button(This may also explain other cases of missing buttons) . Basically one or maybe all of the browser protection apps I use was blocking Live chat eg Ghostery/Adblock plus security suite browser protection option. I disabled them on the help page and hey presto ! the button appeared.

 

I was able to contact a customer sevice rep on LiveChat who was very helpful and was able to sort out the technical problems I had been experienced. These prompted my decision to cancel my pass. The problem was I had downloaded NowTV player from NowTV page when, as I am using Windows 10, I needed the NowTV app from Windows store. Once I had uninstalled Nowplayer and downloaded NowTV app everything worked tickety-boo. Magic. One happy customer. The advisor reinstated the Sport pass and I was able to keep the 2 month offer I had originally purchased.

 

The advisor I spoke to was really helpful and friendly and has restored my faith in NowTV as I was beginning to seriously regret my decision to take up the offer.

Help.....why does no one answer the live chat, I have been sitting here for 10 mins, an hour this morning and I left it for over an hour last night, is there anyone there!!

Welcome to the forum. You might want to try a different browser and/or device (eg try on phone/tablet instead of PC or vice versa) or you could also try the send a message option instead.

 

You can send the NOW TV Team a message or get to live chat from the Contact Us page

Alternately if your query is a general one rather than account related you could ask on the forum and someone might be able to help.

I have a month sport mobile pass and a week pass can Google cast with mobile pass

No. The Mobile Pass can only be watched on a mobile phone.

 

The week pass ought to let you cast any sport during the week it runs for, though.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
