Is [email removed] a legitimate address

Hello,

Today I received an email from [email removed] saying that I my billing details for my Now TV account needed updating and that 1 payment was over due.

I tried updating my details on the website but the system was working and so, I called the number attached to the email.

Spoke to someone in Ireland who them put me through to the payment department (I think in India).

Halfway through the process, I realised that the email could be scam. Is the above email address a legitimate email address for Now TV and Broadband?

@MikeSoch

Call the broadband team using the number from this link.

However because of GDPR the email address is masked so we won’t know.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

The Now Community software eats email addresses, as you will see above.

To defeat this, where you are sure that posting the email address will not be the potential invasion of privacy that this is designed to guard against, put a space in the email address you are quoting, after the @

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
