Incorrectly Charged

Why was I charged £0.10 even though I got a free subscription through Monopoly McDonalds. I chose the 3 month Entertainment subscription and when i put my billing details in i was charged £0.10 even though when i was confirming the transaction it was saying i was paying £0.00. I just want my 10 pence back

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

This normally happens when a company is verifying that the card is valid. It sets aside  nominal figure that in most cases is not actually taken and it shouldn't leave your bank. If it does you should automatically get it back. 

 

Make sure that you cancel at least a week before any free subscription expires to avoid an auto renewal
