How can I close my account and remove my details? I don't want my details to be stored after trial

Hi,

How can I remove all my details from the NowTV website. It states that my account will be reactivated I watch another movie. I don't want this option. I want all my details (credit card, address, email etc) deleted after the trial has ended.

I need to remove card details as I will not be using this account and I have seen that people have had their card details removed by asking on the forums. However, not to worry I love now tv and will using another account.

Out of curiosity, why didn't you just go to your NowTV account and update your card details on there instead of setting up a new account ?

Anyway you will need to speak to live chat and instruct them to remove your old card details from their database.

good evening 

i am having problems removing my card details from my account i don't want to close my account i just don't want to be paying £9.99 a month if i forget to buy a voucher i thought that it would be easy to do this as i thought that you could dip in and out when you wanted but it seems this is not the case please can you help

Welcome to the forum. NOW TV ask you to leave card details on your account for your account to remain active, so if you intend to come back at a later date or you have a NOW TV box that you will continue using I'd recommend leaving your card details on. You can always enable your payment PIN in your account http://account.nowtv.com/payment-pin if you want to make sure nobody in the household purchases passes by mistake.


However if you are sure you want your card details removed, you can ask live chat to do this for you. 

To get to live chat, go to the following help page and choose the live chat option.

For security reasons, all issues related to your NOW TV 'account' such as, NOW TV account removal/card details removal and refunds are subject to the Data Protection Act and can't be discussed on the open forum, which means it's more appropriate for you to directly contact a NOW TV representative rather than asking one of them (or somebody who may be posing as one of them) to contact you via the forum!

You can contact a NOW TV representative via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility by using a Windows or Mac computer, not a mobile device, as their web browsers might not be sophisticated enough to display 'pop-up' windows (ie: windows within windows). Also, Mac or IOS device users will require JavaScript support enabled in their Safari internet browsers. Here's what you need to do: -

• Click on the following: How To Contact NOW TV link.
• To 'Send us a message', click on the light blue 'Send Message' button.
• To start a 'Live Chat', click on the dark blue 'Chat online' button.
• A new 'What can we help you with today?' pop-up window should open up.
• Click on the 'Request Chat' button.

I signed up for this and there's nothing on it that I want to watch, how do I remove my card details and close my account all together?

The first thing you need to do is cancel all your active NowTV passes by going to the NowTV website with your internet browser and click on My Account > My Passes and click on the cancel button then follow the step by step on screen instructions until you get the cancel confirmation page.

After that, you need to contact live chat and ask them to remove your personal and bank details from their database.
