How can I close my account and remove my details? I don't want my details to be stored after trial

Hi,

How can I remove all my details from the NowTV website. It states that my account will be reactivated I watch another movie. I don't want this option. I want all my details (credit card, address, email etc) deleted after the trial has ended.

takes me to a place which tells me I don’t have sufficient privileges to go there 😥

 

Same with the Char-A one below it.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.

Thanks for pointing that out Roy, It looks like this thread is made up of related topics that have been merged together at some point in the name of housekeeping, some of which are really old and no longer relevant  (that reply was from 2012) I'll go through this post and tidy it up.

can I just have a phone number to cancel? The ‘help’ page is just taking me round in circles and every link on this thread is useless.

just a phone number so I can cancel how hard is that?

You can cancel passes for yourself under My Account/Passes & Vouchers.

 

Just make sure, when you cancel, that you go through all four screens, and check afterwards that the Pass does indeed show as Cancelled, with no upcoming payment scheduled.

That answer may be old, but the question is still being repeatedly asked today.

I have been looking in your forum community for instructions to delete my account. However I have only found the instructions to cease auto-renewing my subscription. Please would you provide me with the way to delete my information from your system. Or if not, would you please remove my data from your system from your end. 

 

Please do this without delay.

Sorry to hear that you wish to cancel your account. You can find instructions on how to do this here.


For legal and operational reasons, we will need to keep some of your information for a period of time but this will be deleted in line with our data retention policy.

Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear that you are leaving us 😞

 

By switching off auto renew it means that at the end of the current months subscription the account will just be made redundant.

 

We will need to keep some of the information for a period of time but this will be deleted in line with our data retention policy.

HI,

 

I've been trying to cancel my account for the past 2/3 months, this is absolutely ridiculous!! What a ###### service! Absolute robbery. I want all my details gone, email address, card details, the lot. Totally immoral that you can't cancel or close your account with ease. Sort it out or I will be moving forward to get my money back from you.
