Free channels

Anyone know how many channels are free?

At present there are no "Free" channels on NowTV, although you can use the catch up services such as iPlayer etc.

To watch any of the content provided by Sky or Netflix you wil need a Pass or Subscription.

When you say "Channels" that usually means the individual apps you add to your device from the App Store, like the BBC iPlayer or YouTube which both have free content (but YouTube has some content that has to be paid for).  

But I suspect your question is about the programs shown on Now TV, of which none are free.

However, if you buy one of the more expensive Roku streaming devices you will find access to tons of free channels with free content.

Most, but not all, of the UK terrestrial channels have channels/apps that are available on Now TV's streaming platform, while the Roku has the same UK channels/apps, plus a mixture of older US and other foreign ones as well. 

However, if you want the other free UK channels/apps that are not available on Now TV or Roku you will have to try other platforms such as YouView or FreeSat.
