I have paid £4.99 offer for Entertainment package today via email at 11.22 but I cannot access programmes via my TV app

When you say TV App I am assuming you mean the native NOW App on your smart television.
Any message on the screen when you try to play NOW Entertainment content?
Have you tried opening the NOW App navigate to the My Account section (bottom grid row) then sign out.
After you have logged out unplug the power to the television for say a minute, then restart the television and sign in with your NOW account details that the £4.99 Entertainment Membership is on.
