Does casting to Chromecast count as a Stream?

Hi,

I subscribe to Boost. So I have three concurrent streams.

If I watch Now Sky Sports on my phone which I have cast to my Chromecast/TV does this

count as 2 streams or 1?

Hi @Victor4 

If you cast first to your Chromecast device, then hit play on your smartphone or tablet, this should then count has one of your three simultaneous streams.

Should you do it the other way, then this will be counted has two simultaneous streams on your Boost Membership.

I always cast first before playing anything on the NOW App on my smartphone / tablet.

I am not sure it matters any more in the new device management regime i.e. once you are casting you negate the stream on your phone.
