Discount on broadband for people with Learning disabilites

Hi my sister has Downs and has a broadband package.  She receives various benefits and her carer Centre have said she is entitled to a discount…can you advise?

All I can suggest is to call the broadband team to see if they can do it.

These are Now’s rules, if she is a current Now Broadband user:-

Is she in receipt of Universal Credit or Pension Credit, and will she be the account holder?

Other broadband suppliers may have differing rules, if she is not with Now.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
