Complaint- wrong payment card charged

Despite changing my payment details on my account,  Nowtv are still trying to take payment from my old card which has now been deleted from my account. I am assuming this is because it is an automated function to attempt to take payment, however, as it keeps failing it would better sense if an advisor checked my account for any change of payment details, which is the case. Is there a number I can ring to get this sorted out as I need my Internet as I work from home and don't want it cancelled.

Payment for what? Broadband or TV?

As NOW has a call centre for broadband and live chat is for TV only.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help


As the poster needs their internet to work from home, there would be a strong presumption of Broadband here, so @Sp66, pick any one of these numbers to call:-

0330 041 2518, 0330 041 2462 or 0330 332 3050, or maybe 0800 759 1213

Best not to mention WFH. Now is domestic broadband, for domestic purposes, and while WFH doesn’t pose huge bandwidth consumption considerations, the SLA (Service Level Agreement) that Now have in place with Openreach, and their own procedures, don’t really support commercial use.


Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
