I cancelled my free 7 day subscription 1 day before it ended. I had confirmation of it all and I was charged to my back account still on Friday. With all that is happening having no live talk, which is useless anyhow.... Would the best option be to just contact my bank and demand a refund since I have emails confirming cancellation.

I would send a copy of the email received confirming cancellation to your bank and ask them to take it forward on your behalf.
With on other way of contacting NOW I see no alternative.
