Cancel a non existing membership

It's several days that I've been trying to cancel some membership that I never intended to get and that I can't see when I go to my membership page and I can't get in touch with anyone so I keep being charged, in the last week I was charged for 2 different types of membership and yesterday again Now tried to charge me for a Boost but I had blocked the payments already. The issue is I can't even download Now app because I live in Asia so it's impossible for me to access whatever membership they are trying to charge me for..

I would like someone from Now to contact me immediately and cancel all membership that you think I got.

You don’t and wont ever get staff replying to you on here. See this link for the forum purpose.

To me it sounds like you took out the entertainment offer which is locking you in for 6 months, then giving you a 7 day free trial of boost and cinema which are £6 and £9.99 unless cancelled. This is all clearly stated in the offer and its T&C.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

The issue with that offer isn’t whether or not it is clearly stated; for our purposes here, I am happy to accept that it is.

The issue is with the way Now obtain consent to the ancillary items; consent obtained via preticked boxes, or their equivalent there of not deleting a default acceptance, is no consent at all.

And as these items have not been consented to, Now must repay them.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

This is a customer-to-customer Community that Now don’t monitor or post in, so a contact from them won’t happen 😢

But you don’t need to download the Now app; if you can post here, you can access your account details by clicking your avatar top right, choosing Manage NOW Account, Now Membership, and cancel any running Memberships you see.

If you don’t see any, then the Membership(s) must be via a third party, and you can perhaps find them via this route:-

https://help.nowtv.com/article/how-do-i-cancel-now

or by looking at your card or bank account for the amounts in question and seeing who is charging you for them, Now or a third party.

If it’s Now, or Sky, expand Why can't I see the membership I want to cancel on my account? on the page referenced above, and follow the link to look for possible duplicate Now accounts.

If all else fails, though, contact Now Live Chat to sort you out.

The following link leads you to direct contact with Now Live Chat (via a tiny green circle with a v in it, so keep your eyes peeled for that when you have made your initial choices):-

Avoid ‘Get Help Quicker’ there; the Nowbot, while it means well, doesn’t know its own limitations, and it won’t help you once you get to this stage. Also, don’t choose Request a Refund, even if that is what you want, as that will only deliver you to the Nowbot; pick something else.

I have just cancelled my broadband during the cooling off period and was told that i would have to wait 45 days for a refund. However, the Terms state within 14 days: https://www.nowtv.com/terms point 13.5

I have put a complaint in stating this so im hoping they stick to their terms and pay back teh £70 paid.
