If you can’t wire your home for Ethernet, then be aware that most things, including NowTV Sticks and boxes, work by WiFi.
And if you do have an item that absolutely needs Ethernet, then you can reach it over the mains using PLAs (powerline adaptors), like these.
Or possibly a nanorouter like these.
Either way, most of the distance is covered over the mains or WiFi, leaving you with only a short Ethernet cable to add.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
