My broadband went off today which I thought was due to a fault but since discovered it was disconnected for late payments. I thought my direct debit was set up so was unaware of payments being overdue and I can’t understand why the payment weren’t taken. I’ve tried to pay the overdue payment and an error message appears every time. Will I have to contact customer services.

I would give the NOW Broadband Team a call and once the payment has gone through, find out how long it will take to switch your Broadband service back on.
I am assuming you have their contact details ?
