There was a Broadband increase of £3.75 or so, that you should have got an email about, if we are talking broadband, but £10 is both too large to be that, and too small to be a special or introductory offer expiring.
But perhaps you think you are talking to Now staff here? You aren’t, this Community is customer to customer, so we have no idea about what the specifics here would be 😢

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
