Really sorry to hear that. Here's some things that might improve the quality.
Firstly try uninstalling and reinstalling the app and clearing the data.
Do you have an Ethernet cable you can try as a wired connection is often more successful than WiFi.
Can you check your speeds on speedtest.net when you do see the low quality?
