Toshiba smart TV app

Status: New

Hi I think it was about time that toshiba smart TVs had the ability to watch now tv via an app. They have Netflix and other apps why not now tv?

I think it's due to an exclusive deal Sky/NOW TV did with LG.  It must have been a very good deal as otherwise I would've thought getting the app on as many smart TVs as possible would've made good business sense.  I'm surprised they went with LG & not Samsung, as they have the reputation for carrying the most comprehensive selection of apps IMO.

Toshiba have dumped last gen Web OS... and are moving to Android TV 5.0.... a long with Sony and Philips....

 

Last gen models are likely to be ignored... for features even after the LG deal is over...

Join the Nexus player and Android TV 5.0 to support next gen Toshiba HDTVs...

And request support for Android TV 5.0 from NowTV...
