Signed Up & Being Spammed

I signed up for six months and my thanks was NowTV spamming me even though I didn't opt in to be spammed and I wouldn't have registered/given them money if I knew they'd act in this manner.

 

My question now is how do I stop you or can I have a refund if you insist on doing it?

Hi @Anonymous User  sorry this will send another one but this article should help http://help.nowtv.com/article/Opt-out-of-emails Are you using a PC to access this?  If so if click on the icon before the bell, and select My settings then subscriptions and unsubscribe from anything you are subscribed to.

Can't find it and shouldn't be paying them to run around trying to opt out of something I didn't opt in too, oh and now had two more spam emails from this forum

Hardly being spammed every forum software sends you emails unless you opt out of them.

Can opt out from forum account settings here.
https://community.nowtv.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-subscriptions%3Anotification-settings

 

Make sure using full site not mobile version
And change the email settings bit.

 

Then goto

https://community.nowtv.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/user-preferences

 

And untick box for

 

Automatically subscribe me to topics or reviews I participate in

 

Click save should stop all future emails from forum.

I never opted in and it wasn't just the forum spam, it was NowTV pushing rubbish on me I never asked for either,  spamming people straight after signing up isn't a good thing and shows you're no Sherlock
