Error 38

Getting the above error when trying to stream programs on my Sony Xperia Z3. Can watch programs on my PC with no problems

Hi,

I am getting error code 38 on samsung sm-t335, android version 5.1.1

I have launched through app, no playback, bbciplayer etc all working fine. Please urgently help as in hospital and bored!

Sorry to hear that 😞 hope you make a speedy recovery!

But good thing that we're there for you right? 🙂

This error can mean that there's low memory on the device. The usual fix for this is to clear some old data and clear the NOW TV cache in the app settings.

Could you give this a go and let us know how you get on?

Can I ask you some questions to get an idea of what the issue might be:

- Are you outside the UK or was the phone bought outside the UK?

- Have you rooted the phone at all?

- Are you trying to connect the phone to anything else to watch the content on?

- Does this happen on everything you try to watch?
