How much will Entertainment TV cost after March 2014?

The TV deal says £4.99 until March 2014, how much will this be afterwards?

No price after March 2014 has been announced at the moment but I can't see it being any more than £10 a month if they do increase the price.

Re: How much will Entertainment TV cost after March 2014?

I've just signed up to the £4.99 deal. I was one of the last to get the £2.50 intro deal on movies which runs out in January. Once that goes up to £8.99, I'll be paying Sky £14 a month, which is still reasonable compared with the TV service. However, if the Entertainment package goes up, it suddenly won't be any cheaper than subscribing to TV with broadband (taking into account my £26 a month BT broadband and phone package)! I hope Sky are taking this into considerationwith their pricing because I'll be jumping ship if the Nowtv service turns out to be any more expensive than it currently is.

Re: How much will Entertainment TV cost after March 2014?

I won't mind if they add more channels as I live in a 22 Freeview channel area and my Dad pays for broadband but doesn't want a dish so the service suits me perfectly. I used to use the old Sky online player before it changed to Sky Go so this service is great, especially when you get a NowTV box.

That said, if the channels remain the same or they add a load of childrens channels I will be jumping ship as I only really watch South Park and the Seth shows, occasionly there will be a show I like on Discovery.

I use this as an extension on the crappy Freeview channels it is not essential and I do not have a vast source of income. The cheapness of the service is what made it appeal to me. I will only be willing to pay up to ten pounds.

If they add additional passes such as ' Childrens tv pass' or music tv pass etc I won't be ordering them but it could be a good idea to keep the service optional to people who may not want more than already is offered.
